My use case is: A costumer wants to create an issue. They want to attach a confidential file that only the company but no other customers should have access to.
The problem is: In Smart Attachments, I can only add user groups or project roles to the access restrictions. So if I exclude all costumers from accessing a category, customers will not be able to create attachments in this category as well.
A solution would be: If an attachment category could be made accessible to the bug reporter or maybe the uploader, this would solve the problem. In general, I think restriction access for the uploader of an attachment doesn't make a lot of sense, even if it is later moved to a different category. Therefore, just granting access to the uploader would also be fine.
If I am not misunderstood, this is currently not possible in Smart Attachments. For us, this is the exact usecase we would like to use Smart Attachments for, and it would definitely mean that we would buy it.
